The Sudden Meeting
One day the young girl called Jane Wilson went to the walk.
Suddenly she met a dog.
“Hello!” greeted dog. “How are you?”
“I’m fine,” answered Jane.
“What’s your name?” asked dog.
“I’m Jane Wilson. And what’s your name?”
“Call me Hilda.”
“I’m really glad to see you.”
“Where do you came from?” demanded dog.
“I’m from Helsinki.”
“Where is Helsinki?”
“What is Finland?” wondered dog.
“There is a country in Europe. There are many lakes, woods, rivers.”
They went across the street very slowly and they talked about Finland. Then Hilda told Jane about her master called Peter, who fed Hilda sugar bones and meat.
“I love my master,” said Hilda. “He plays piano and sings songs for his wife called Edith. He says, that she is his muse. What a muse?”
“Muse is a woman, who inspire her young man in creature. Sometimes those young men establish very pretty works of art”
They went across a street and red leaf of the maple tree fell in them. And they talked and talked.
